Covid-19 Policies and Procedures
If your child presents ANY respiratory symptoms, please keep them at home. With a sufficient notification, we will email you a Zoom link so that your child can still take class online for that session and not miss out on their lesson.
You attest that your child and/or anyone in your household has not been exposed to or tested positive for COVID-19 within the last 14 days.
If your child and/or someone in your household has tested positive for COVID-19 or has COVID-19 symptoms you agree that you will not bring your child to dance until you have self-quarantined for at least 14 days and present no COVID-19 symptoms.
You agree that if your child has been to dance at Otsego School of Dance and Performing Arts and has tested positive for COVID-19 or has been exposed to someone who has COVID-19, you will notify our office immediately so we can in turn notify other dance families who have been in class with your child and the proper health officials.
You accept that someone may have COVID-19 and not show symptoms of the virus. You agree that if you, your child or someone else in your household contracts COVID-19 that you will not hold Otsego School of Dance and Performing Arts or its employees accountable.
Students are requested to arrive at the studio wearing a mask and expected to practice social distancing while in the waiting room. For the safety of our students, the wearing of masks during class participation may hinder their ability to breathe properly and is optional. Any student with a health issue that prohibits the wearing of a mask will be honored. During class time we will be taking proper measures to social distance. Please inform the studio if you require your child to wear a mask while in class.
Otsego School of Dance and Performing Arts will be taking precautions in keeping a clean and safe environment for our students. This includes the following: Floors will be marked to indicate six foot spacing so that students can social distance, daily cleaning, sanitizing and disinfecting of all studio surfaces. Certain cleaning protocols will also be practiced in between classes. Teachers will be sanitizing their hands regularly should there be any contact with a student, such as when spotting for acrobatics.
By registering your child at Otsego School of Dance and Performing Arts you agree to all of the above COVID-19 policies and you release Otsego School of Dance and Performing Arts and its employees of any COVID-19 related liability.
